Myles Munroe: A Purpose Driven Life

The greatest tragedy in life is not death, but a life lived without purpose" Myles Munroe.

Words can hardly ever quantify true emotion, but I'm sincerely grateful to God that he used you and your lovely wife to show the world purposeful living literally. Today my consciousness of time, purpose and meeting God with bountiful fruit to show was re-awakened...In your life God was glorified and in your death He still is being glorified.."O death where.is thy sting?"..Its so amazing to think that even as you are already with God, the seeds you planted are still ripening and reproducing. That is the true legacy of one who is truly the Lords.Thank you for letting your light shine sooo bright. To God be the glory.Wake up y'all there's so much to be done. "The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few"(Luke10:2).

Open Up!

Letting people in or letting them get close to the point of seeing you for who you really are, is one of the hardest things ever. What if they get close enough to see your unhealed wounds? What if they can’t handle your not so beautiful elements? What if they are more in love with the “you” they thought they knew from afar? And worst of all, what if they bring to light the things you hated about yourself and thought you had dealt with?
Their closeness and their inability to handle the burden of your imperfection can be absolutely disheartening and condemning, leaving you hopeless.

A few years ago I went into a relationship with Someone, and based on my numerous interactions with people I instinctively held back. I wasn’t going to risk Him seeing my imperfections, NO WAY! So he could hurt me like the rest? No way! But for the first time in my life I was absolutely wrong. Over and again he asked me to open up and I would hide because He was flawless. Why would someone so perfect stay after seeing me for me? After all, everyone I had thought could handle my transparency couldn’t even when they tried, so why would He?

I heard once about a lady who had a similar (much more intense and literal) experience. (John 8:3-11 MSG):

The religion scholars led in a woman who had been caught in the act of adultery. They stood her in plain sight of everyone and said, “Teacher, this woman was caught red-handed in the act of adultery. Moses in the law gives orders to stone such persons. What do you say?”…Jesus bent down and wrote something with his finger in the dirt. They kept at him, badgering. He straightened up and said, “The sinless one among you, go first: Throw the stone.” Bending down again he wrote some more in the dirt. Hearing that they walked away, one after another beginning with the oldest. The woman was left alone. Jesus stood and spoke to her “Woman where are they? Does no one condemn you?” “No one Master.” “Neither do I. Go your way from now on do not sin.”

AMAZING RIGHT?

Also with Simon Peter Jesus foresaw his repeated denial of Him (John 13:38), but instead of condemning him helped him back up and gave him responsibility over what He cherished most on earth (John 21:15-17), He helped him up and gave him a clean slate.

He has said to me over and again:

I took you from the ends of the earth. from its farthest corners I called you, I said ‘You are my servant, I have chosen you and have not rejected you: So do not fear for I am with you; do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ (Isaiah 41:9&10).

Jesus will never condemn you, He knows that you see your mess and that you have struggled in vain to clean it up. He won’t beat you up about how you’ve failed to change over and again, instead if you allow Him, He will help you, clean you up, hold your hands and give you the power to be right. I can’t help but be in love with Him, He is absolutely amazing!

*Singing* Mercy said no I’m not gonna let you go, I’m not gonna let you slip away, you don’t have to be afraid…(Mercy Said No by Cece Winans).

The Real GIANT + Song of The Day: Big God (Uche Agu)

David was the real GIANT and not Goliath....(think on that)...., because seriously who can stand against God? WHO? "if God be for us WHO can be against us"? If we look at what happened between David and Goliath with Spiritual Spectacles ( :) ), we'll see that Goliath was the TINY one because "The battle is The Lords". Ignorantly Goliath had picked a fight not with David or Israel, but with God!

Please stop underestimating yourself as a child of God. As long as you can see who you are in Him you'll know that you are never on your own, and that He reproves kings for your sake saying "Touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm".
Have a wonderful day! :D. Be Spekky...Be Spectacular!!!

Day By Day

Be bifocal in the way you live! God has shown many of us the beautiful plans He has for us, but instead of fully living each of the days that lead to the actualization of the future that has been shown to us, we despise them. God wants us to know that He has big plans for us, but He also wants us to live in TODAY, because He hasn’t provided the grace that is necessary for tomorrow yet (Lamentations 3:23 and Matt6:34). King David asked very wisely “teach us to number our days that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom”(Ps90:12). The distance to your destination is determined by how you spend each day. It took the Israelites 40 years to cover a distance that would ordinarily have taken 4 days (God took them through 40 day route) because of how they spent those days. Are you living yearly, waiting for a new year to come so you can make another “New years resolution”? I challenge you to make A NEW DAYS RESOLUTION everyday of your life from now on J. To live these days to the maximum you need to receive grace from God on a daily basis because “Without me you can do nothing”(John15:5). Don’t think you can use the grace from yesterday for today, you’ll definitely regret it just like the Israelites regretted storing the Manna God provided till the next day. Fresh grace is available; receive it every day so you can truly enjoy the abundant life Jesus came for us to have. How many days old are you today?

My Worth, Your Worth!!!

On the 27th of November 2011 at 11:30am God told me "I've known you even before you started knowing you then why do you seek the living among the dead. I'm the only one who gets you totally, loves you totally, I'm the only one who can make you total. they don't know your value and I won't cast my pearl to swine. My word will try you and you will come out in the form I created you to shine in. Stay with me you are safe in my arms...He's there (my soul mate), I'm preparing him so that he will deserve you because he knows and understands the totality of your value, you will indeed be one in me. Just trust me I love you."
The interesting thing was that when God told me this, I didn't realize that it was already in the Bible, so when a friend of mine (Ehi) and I were talking about the virtuous woman I thought I'd check it out and when I did I saw something that made me shout about my great worth "Who can find a virtuous woman? For her PRICE is FAR ABOVE rubies."(Proverbs 31:10-31). More or less saying who can afford a virtuous woman?
The entire passage talks about her awesome features and I decided to strive to walk according to her features of trustworthiness, goodness, productivity, Diligence, intuition, self development in God, being analytical, helpfulness, preparedness before God, luxurious and elegant dressing, value adding, being productive with her talents, strength, honour, speaking words of wisdom, being the standard for kindness, never being idle cos she's always taking care of the things God has put in her care, having a life that shines enough for people see and give glory to God, being absolutely successful, having God as No.1 in her life.
These were the features I could sum up from studying Proverbs 31:10-31, but when I looked at everything I wondered if it was really possible for me to operate in that kind of perfection and God in his awesome Kindness explained to me that the Virtuous Priceless woman is a Woman who operates in the fruit of the Spirit. I can't be Priced far above Rubies without the Holy Spirit working in and with me.
When I operate according to the dictates of the Holy Spirit I am virtuous, I am priceless. Let God work in you today and then you will be the person he truly sees you as. You are Spectacular you are not ordinary. Today and always be Spekky, be Spectacular!!!
